[hot stocks: Huawei Automotive concept changes BAIC Blue Valley rose more than 9% Dongfeng Technology rose slightly] news on April 15, Huawei Automobile concept stocks changed, a number of stocks rose sharply, BAIC Blue Valley rose more than 9%, Qiming Information rose more than 2%, Siwei Touxin, Asia Pacific shares, Sanhua Intelligence Control, Silverwheel shares, Tianyin Mechatronics, Dongfeng Technology, Weike Technology and other stocks all rose to varying degrees.

On April 15, Huawei Automotive concept stocks changed, and many stocks rose sharply. BAIC Blue Valley rose more than 9%, Qiming Information rose more than 2%, and Siwei Touxin, Asia Pacific shares, Sanhua Intelligence Control, Silverwheel shares, Tianyin Mechatronics, Dongfeng Technology, Weike Technology and other stocks all rose to varying degrees.

As we all know, since the founder of Xiaomi Group, Lei Jun, publicly announced that he would enter the car-building industry, there has been a lot of talk about "Huawei car-building". At the global analyst conference on April 12, Xu Zhijun, the rotating chairman of Huawei, stressed once again that Huawei does not build complete cars. Huawei will be involved in the automotive industry as an ICT (information and communication technology) provider.

At the same time, Xu Zhijun also stressed that Huawei will continue to work with car companies in 2021 to launch more sub-brand models equipped with Huawei technology. Chongqing Changan and Guangzhou Automobile will become Huawei's future partners. BAIC Langu, one of Huawei's partners in the automotive field, announced as early as January 2019 that the company and Huawei signed a "comprehensive business cooperation agreement" to rely on their respective advantages to develop next-generation intelligent network-connected electric vehicle technology.

Polar Fox SUV ARCFOX α T, which carries Huawei's latest MH5000 5G chip, was released in 2020, and Huawei's first self-driving car with BAIC's new energy vehicle brand ARCFOX will be officially unveiled on April 17 this year.

It is worth mentioning that Huawei does not build complete vehicles, not because Huawei does not have the strength to build complete vehicles, nor does it mean that Huawei is not optimistic about the future of new energy vehicles. Huawei has predicted that new energy vehicles will account for 50% of the automotive sector in 2030, and its attitude is self-evident.

However, in Huawei's view, they prefer to focus on technology, focusing on the core three-electric systems (batteries, motors, electronic controls) of new electric and new energy vehicles, as well as self-driving technology and on-board systems. At present, these major directions are precisely the existence of great potential for development in the future.

Proposed Mining Rule Changes in Peru from Leftist Candidate
According to Mining.com, he leftist political agenda in Peru includes several proposed changes that could significantly reshape the mining regulatory framework, particularly for copper and other base metals. A key proposal is to increase state participation in mining revenues, potentially through higher royalties or new taxes linked to mineral production value. This aligns with past policy ideas that aim to capture a larger share of commodity windfalls during high-price cycles, especially in copper, Peru’s most important export sector.

[SMM Flash] Latest Market Update on Indonesian Sulfur
According to SMM's latest pricing, supported by tight international shipping capacity and rigid demand, the sulfur (CIF Indonesia) price range was $990-1,050/mt this week, up $60/mt WoW. Market sources indicated that only a few sellers were able to offer firm cargo quotations, while the remaining cargoes were still stranded within the Gulf. Currently, some sellers had raised their sulfur offers to the Indonesian market to $1,250-1,300/mt, but no actual transactions were concluded. Although unreleased cargoes within the Gulf were quoted at around $900/mt, negotiations between buyers and sellers were extremely difficult, and market trading was sluggish.
